There is a slight risk of severe thunderstorms this afternoon and evening.
The National Weather Service says primary severe weather associated hazards will be damaging winds and large hail. An isolated tornado cannot be ruled out.
Locally heavy rainfall will also be a storm hazard, especially for southern portions of western Kentucky, along the Tennessee border, particularly near and east of the Lakes. This heavy rain and flooding hazard will continue overnight.
