The Christian County Health Department announced a 65-year-old man is the county’s 97th death linked to the COVID-19 virus.
Amanda Sweeney-Brunt with the health department said the man had underlying health conditions.
On Tuesday, the health department announced 19 new cases of COVID-19 putting the county’s active case total at 207, the most since February 20. 51 of the active cases involve people 21 and under, which is also the most since February.
