A temporary disc golf course is set up in Cadiz, with a chance to learn how to play the game coming up Saturday.
Chris Buchman of the Wildcat Disc Golf Club tells the News Edge the course is set up in West Cadiz Park through at least October.
He adds disc golf follows some of the same rules as the traditional game of golf, or as they call it “ball golf.”
The clinic will be held Saturday from 10:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. at West Cadiz Park.
Buchman says if you do not own any discs, he will have some for sale from Millennium Golf Discs, and you can even borrow one for the day. He adds after paying for the discs; the additional proceeds will benefit the Wildcat Disc Golf Club.
Buchman invites everyone to come out, as the game is perfect for any member of the family.
