The 10th annual Trigg County Seven Friends Memorial Scholarship golf tournament will take place Saturday.
Tournament organizer Stephanie Perry tells the News Edge, Cadiz Mayor Todd King, and a few others came up with the idea.
Perry says for this year’s event, pre-packaged lunches will be served at 11:00, with a shotgun start at Noon at Arrowhead Golf Course in Cadiz.
If you are interested in forming a team for the tournament, you can call Mayor King.
Perry says the scholarships mean a lot to the Trigg County High School seniors who receive them.
The Seven Friends group hands out, on average, 50 scholarships annually.
