Seniors at Christian County High School and Hopkinsville High will be allowed six tickets for family members to attend graduation services later this month.
Christian County High will have their graduation on Friday, May 21 at 5:30 at the Stadium of Champions. Hopkinsville High will graduate the same night at 8:00. Christian County Assistant Superintendent of Schools Laura Morris said inclement weather that night will cause graduation to move to the next night, also at the Stadium.
People attending will be required to follow social distancing guidelines and sit in household groups. Graduates will wear masks except when walking across the stage to receive their diploma.
Morris added the graduation ceremonies will be live-streamed for those who do not have a ticket to attend in person.

The school district announced Tuesday at 162 students in the district were quarantined at home due to possible exposure to COVID-19. Of those, 94 were high school students. Morris said there will be a plan put into place for any seniors not allowed to attend graduation because they have tested positive for COVID-19 or in quarantine due to exposure.
