The Little River Baptist Association hosted a National Day of Prayer event Thursday morning, a time to stop and pray for the community, nation, and world.
Cadiz Baptist Church Pastor Justin Carter issued the challenge to everyone to learn to pray. He said the Bible shows three lessons on how to pray, including praying sincerely.
Carter added another sincere prayer is a confessing one.
He said prayer should be done secretly or in a quiet place and done simply.
