A wreck on Pembroke Road near Casky Lane sent three people to the hospital one with severe injuries Wednesday afternoon.
Hopkinsville Police say a car was eastbound when for an unknown reason it crossed into the westbound lanes and hit a truck pulling a camper then a van.
The van ran off the road and overturned trapping the driver inside. The car continued traveling down the roadway before catching fire.
The driver of the van had to be extricated from his vehicle.
The driver of the van was flown from the scene to a Nashville hospital with severe injuries. Two others were taken by ambulance to Jennie Stuart Medical Center for what police say are non-life-threatening injuries.
The crash happened just after 4 pm.
