A man and woman were charged with assault after a fight on Carlton Lane in Cadiz Saturday morning.
Cadiz Police say 28-year-old Daniel Whitfield of Cadiz and 29-year-old Heather Freeman of Greenbriar, Tennessee, were in a physical altercation when she hit him and he hit and choked her.
They are both charged with fourth-degree assault. Whitfield is also charged with first-degree strangulation.
