Two Christian County High School students were the recent winners in Kentucky’s 1st Congressional District’s 2021 Congressional Art Competition.
Congressman James Comer’s office announced Friday Kaitlyn McKay was the winner. Her composition titled ‘Derby Horse’ will hang in the U.S. Capitol.
In addition, Anna Maddux came in second place with her sketch, ‘The Friendly Miner.’ Her work will be on display in Comer’s Washington, D.C. Office.
Comer said the 2021 competition included many excellent submissions, and he was proud to select the two pieces to represent Kentucky’s 1st Congressional District in Washington.
