A new COVID-related death has been confirmed in Trigg County.
The Pennyrile District Health Department announced Tuesday the death of a 61-year-old female from May 15. Trigg County has now reported 15 COVID-related deaths.
In addition, three new COVID-19 cases have been confirmed since last Thursday. They include two males and a female ranging in age from 19 to 34. All of those cases were said to be recovering at home. As of Friday, Trigg County reported 18 active COVID-19 cases.
