The Edge Media Group is partnering once again with Pennyrile Allied Community Services (PACS) to host the annual ‘Cooling Our Communities’ fan drive.
Krista Groves, with PACS, tells the News Edge they are collecting fans and monetary donations to help residents in need across the nine-county service area.
Groves adds there has already been a demand for fans.
Fans can be dropped off at Pennyroyal Hospice, Herb Hays Furniture and Mattress, the WKDZ/WHVO Studios, or any PACS office.
Monetary donations can be made online or be dropped off at the WKDZ/WHVO Studios.
As for other services, Groves says they help the community in many ways.
