A Hopkinsville man was charged with robbery and fleeing from police in Hopkinsville Monday afternoon.
Hopkinsville Police say 61-year-old Gilbert Grubbs took $15 worth of Reese’s candy from the Dollar General on East 9th Street.
When police attempted to stop him he reportedly fled on foot before assaulting an officer and resisting arrest.
He was arrested on Jones Street and charged with second-degree robbery, first-degree fleeing or evading police, and resisting arrest.
