Police Ask For Help Locating Man Involved In Hopkinsville Shooting

Law enforcement is asking for the community’s help locating a Hopkinsville man involved in a shooting Wednesday morning.

Hopkinsville Police say 27-year-old Joshua Owens was involved in a shooting on Highpoint Drive that damaged a home.

Police were called to the home just before 9 am and reportedly found a window broken on a door along with several shell casings and a 45 caliber handgun.

No one was injured in the shooting. Police say Owens fled the area in a gray Chevy HHR and his last known address is in the 100 block of Plum Street.

He is wanted on charges of first-degree assault, first-degree wanton endangerment,  and possession of a handgun by a convicted felon.
