A motorcyclist was injured after crashing into a truck on Fort Campbell Boulevard Sunday afternoon.
Hopkinsville Police report the wreck occurred shortly before 2:00 when a motorcycle driven by 51-year old Danny Thompson, of Hopkinsville, hit a pickup truck driven by 49-year old Jennifer Hautala, of Naubinway, Michigan.
A witness reportedly told police the motorcycle hit the back passenger side of Hautala’s truck when she was turning left off Fort Campbell Boulevard into the Goodwill parking lot. Thompson stated the truck crossed in front of him and he didn’t have time to avoid a collision.
Thompson was taken by ambulance to Jennie Stuart Medical Center for treatment of injuries.
