The faith community of Christian County is hosting a back-to-school prayer walk at all elementary, middle, and high schools in the county Wednesday evening.
According to information provided to the News Edge, the back-to-school prayer walks will be held Wednesday at 6:00 at all elementary schools, Hopkinsville and Christian County Middle and High Schools, Gateway Academy, Bluegrass Learning Academy at the Stadium of Champions, the Central Office, and Virtual Learning Academy. The event will also be held at University Heights Academy, Heritage Christian Academy, Saints Peter and Paul, and Cumberland Hall.
The group is encouraging those who plan to participate to arrive at the school or education facility of choice at 5:45 in preparation for the walk at 6. The prayer walks will be held outside of the respective buildings.
