Hopkinsville Parks and Recreation has announced a change to closure times for the vehicle gate at Walnut Street Park.
Officials say the gate will close at 6:00 on weeknights and will remain closed during the weekends due to local concerns and complaints regarding unsafe vehicle traffic in the area.
The pedestrian gate will not be affected by this closure and will remain open.
