Hopkinsville Police are investigating the report of an armed robbery at a residence on East 7th Street Wednesday morning.
Police say a man dressed in all black armed with a long rifle acted as if he was interested in buying a vehicle from the victim before pulling a gun. The suspect took the victim’s money and fled the area on foot.
