A Caldwell County farm will be showcased by the Kentucky Cooperative Extension Service as part of its regional Small Diversified Farm series.
Trimble Farms in Farmersville will be the third stop in the six-month series conducted in the 17-county district served by the UK College of Agriculture.
Ben and Lisa Trimble have crafted their small but diverse family farm from the ground up, selling homegrown produce, fruits, and meats at their roadside stand on Farmersville Road and twice a week at the Caldwell County Farmers Market.
Shane Bogle, Caldwell County’s extension agent for agriculture, said the Trimble’s farm is a perfect fit for the Small Diversified Farm series.
