The Kentucky Transportation Cabinet is continuing its work on US 68 in sections west of Cadiz and in the east part of the city.
Paving and striping crews are finishing work on the US 68 four-lane between I-24 and Main Street that began last week.
Meanwhile, there will be work zone restrictions on US 68 west of Cadiz starting Thursday. The cabinet says they will be in various locations between Cadiz and Canton in order to finish shouldering, grading in the median, slope erosion repairs, seeding, ditching, and other finish work to the project. The contractor will also be doing some additional work along the multi-use trail.
Construction of the seven-mile section is estimated to be about 90 percent complete.
