Cloverfest 2021 — the annual gathering for local 4H’ers — will go on from noon until 8 p.m. this Saturday at the West Kentucky 4H Camp in Dawson Springs, in what should be perfect weather for fall festivities.
Caldwell County 4H Extension Rhonda Jewell said it’s an abbreviated look at what the 4H camp is really about, and serves as a quaint fall festival for kids and families.
For children looking to learn a little bit more about 4H programming, or for families looking to learn more about the West Kentucky 4H Camp, Jewell noted this is the perfect time to do both.
It’s also a perfect time, Jewell added, to reunite with camp family and friends while taking in the fall colors of Dawson Springs.
With games and activities happening all day, a night hike along a trail lit by jack-o-lanterns will begin at 8 p.m., to close the day.
Officials are asking for families to please pre-register. A link can be found on Facebook through the West Kentucky 4H Camp page.
For questions, families can contact Jewell at (270) 365-2787. The camp is located at 600 4H Camp Drive, just off the Dawson Springs exit on the West Kentucky Parkway.
