A Tallahassee, Florida man told police he was assaulted at the War Memorial building on South Virginia Street in Hopkinsville Saturday afternoon.
Hopkinsville Police say they learned about the assault when a man showed up at the hospital stating he had been attacked by someone who punched and kicked him until he was unconscious. A suspect was listed on the report with the name redacted by police. The suspect also had a Florida address.
No arrest has been made but the report lists the charge as second-degree assault.
