A Hopkinsville man was charged with arson after a small fire was found inside of a home on Early Drive in Hopkinsville Saturday night.
Hopkinsville Police say the man set a small fire in a closet intentionally to cause harm to the people in the home. The fire was extinguished by someone in the home before firefighters arrived and the man was charged with first-degree arson.
The structure is a Pennyroyal Mental Health Crisis home.
