A traffic stop for speeding on Pembroke Road in Hopkinsville led to drug charges for two men Wednesday night.
Hopkinsville Police say 40-year-old Corey Middleton of Clarksville was stopped for going 26 mph over the speed limit and during the stop he was found to be driving on a suspended license.
A law enforcement K9 reportedly alerted on the vehicle and after a search, three bags of cocaine totaling 8 grams were found in the center console.
Middleton and his passenger 36-year-old Thomas Lynch of Hopkinsville were both arrested and charged with trafficking cocaine. Middleton was also charged with operating on a suspended or revoked license.
