A Hopkinsville man was charged with bribery of a public servant after being served an emergency protective order Wednesday night.
Christian County Sheriff’s deputies say 24-year-old Trace Altman was served an emergency protective order. Deputies say when Altman was told where he had to stay away from, he stated “now I know her address”.
Altman then reportedly asked if he could pay the sheriff’s office $100 under the table to accompany him to a place that would violate the emergency protective order.
Altman was arrested and charged with bribery of a public servant.
