A wreck on West 7th Street in Hopkinsville that sent five people to the hospital led to a disturbance Thursday night.
Hopkinsville Police say an eastbound car was turning into the Subway parking lot and was hit by a second car from behind.
As emergency personnel was working to get a woman that was injured out of her vehicle three juveniles ran up to them and began pushing them and yelling.
After one of the juveniles was detained, the other two continued to yell and push at law enforcement before one of them took off running as they tried to detain him.
All three juveniles were temporarily detained before being released. Both drivers along with three passengers in one of the vehicles were all taken by ambulance to Jennie Stuart Medical Center for what police say are non-life-threatening injuries.
The crash happened just after 7 p.m.
