Planters Banks has announced its annual Season of Giving will run through the end of December and benefit 12 area organizations.
In its eighth year, the Planters Bank Season of Giving is a community tradition that has the goal of bringing awareness to the missions of local non-profit organizations.
Planters Bank CEO Elizabeth McCoy said they are again offering a Kentucky gift and a Tennessee gift – this time with a new design and new items included. The custom-designed gift tins are filled with a matching flour sack towel and a custom state-shaped ornament. Each set retails for $20 and is available for purchase in every Planters Bank location. 100-percent of the purchase price of each gift is donated directly to the organization supported in that branch city.
In addition, the bank has brought back its tradition of donating $25 for every checking or savings account opened when mentioning the Season of Giving at a Planters Bank location.
Among the organizations benefiting from the season of giving in 2021 are The Boys and Girls Club of Hopkinsville; Men2Be in Hopkinsville; Happy Feet in Princeton and Providence; The Dawson Springs Family Resource and Youth Services Center; and Union County Happy Packs.
Planters Bank is headquartered in Hopkinsville and has twelve locations throughout Western Kentucky and Tennessee.
