Another incumbent has joined the 2022 Election field for Trigg County, whenFriday District 1 Magistrate Mike Wright submitted his bid for re-election.
First filling the seat in 2010, Wright — a Democrat — is seeking his fourth-straight term with the Trigg County Fiscal Court.
Wright, a former long-time basketball coach and teacher in the Trigg County school system, now waits to see if he has opposition in the May 2022 primary race.
Jeff Broadbent, an incumbent Democrat for District 4, has already joined the fray.
