Trigg County 4-H Club activities are getting back to normal after a year of scaled-back events due to the coronavirus.
For the first time in over a year, Shelley Crawford the 4-H Extension Agent for Youth Development has been able to meet with kids in the high school and start back popular classes. She said one of the classes ending this week is an outdoor cooking class for the club that has spanned five weeks.

click to download audioShe said 4-H Club members Heidi Hite and Joseph Crawford will attend an issues conference this week that will help teens focus on things that make a difference and are important to them.
click to download audioCrawford said another club member, Anna Sink, is a member of the state teen board for healthy living and plans to use an upcoming event to help other teens in the club.
click to download audioCrawford said the 4-H Club is again selling poinsettias which is one of their largest fundraisers along with the country ham auction held during the ham festival. She said the deadline to order the poinsettias is this Friday with delivery on Friday the 19th. An order form can be found in this story on our websites or by contacting the Trigg County Extension Office or any 4-H club member.
