The U.S. Forest Service has announced the selection of Donnie Dill as the next patrol captain for Land Between the Lakes Law Enforcement.
According to officials, Dill has more than 30 years of law enforcement experience with 15 of those years dedicated to Land Between the Lakes. LBL officials say Dill is a native of Stewart County, Tennessee, and is all too familiar with LBL, its history and its communities.
Dill says he is honored to take this new role and continue his service to LBL and the Forest Service. He added LBL is a very special place for him and he will remain committed to its safety and security.
LBL officials say Dill has assumed command of their growing law enforcement staff and aims to continue the agency’s mission of visitor safety and the protection of their natural resources as well as ensuring LBL is a faithful partner with all of their neighbors.
