Peer Tutors from Trigg County High School and students from Mrs. Hiter’s class with the assistance of Mr. Luna and Mrs. Wade spread holiday cheer Tuesday to senior citizens in Trigg County.
Using donations from the community that was collected for several months, they repurposed silk florals into individual arrangements for each resident at the county’s senior living centers. They delivered the arrangements, along with handmade cards, and sang carols to the residents of Better Senior Living, Shady Lawn, and Barkley Plantation.
Whether it was in-person or through an open window, the students and residents shared thankfulness and spread cheer.
