Public Works Street Superintendent Dave Herndon says milling and paving will begin Monday on the following streets:

– East 4th Street from the railroad to Thompson Street

– South Cherokee Trace Boulevard

– Creek View Drive on both sides of Springmont Drive

– Maplelawn Street

– Millbrooke Drive from Cambridge Drive to Pyle Lane

– Cambridge Drive from Millbrooke Drive to Ashbury Circle

– Cardinal Drive

– East 12th Street from Walnut Street to Broad Street

– East 19th Street from Walnut Street to Woodmill Road

– Maplewood Street from East 19th Street to East 18th Street

– Henson Drive

– A portion of Glass Avenue

Herndon says operations will run weather permitting, and until the paving is completed. He encourages motorists to use caution and be alert for construction equipment. He also asks residents or business owners in these areas who use on-street parking to move vehicles to accommodate equipment.
