A portion of Main Street in downtown Cadiz will close Saturday afternoon for Christmas activities.
Cadiz Mayor Todd King says Main Street will close from Bank of Cadiz to Cherokee Antique Mall at 3:00. The closing is taking place to provide a safe atmosphere for all of the downtown Christmas events planned prior to the annual Christmas Parade. All of Main Street will then close for the Christmas Parade at 6:00 and will reopen following the parade.
