A much respected retired Hopkinsville High School agriculture teacher passed away at his farm Saturday afternoon.
Christian County Sheriff’s deputies say 50-year-old Troy Goode hit a tire on a trailer that was in high weeds with his tractor at the 5000 block of Greenville Road. The accident occurred on his farm.
The Christian County Coroners Office said Goode had a medical issue leading to the crash. He was taken by ambulance to Jennie Stuart Medical Center with CPR in progress and later died.
The incident was called into authorities just before 2 pm.
