A fire on Poplar Street in Hopkinsville displaced a family Monday morning.
Hopkinsville Fire Department Spokesman Payton Rogers says the fire was contained around the front door of the home.
The fire is believed to have been caused by an electrical switch.
Four people that live in the home will be displaced due to the damage and the electricity being shut off to the home. The fire was reported to firefighters just after 10 am.
