A former Christian County sheriff’s deputy has filed to run for sheriff of Christian County.
Adam Vanderkolk filed his candidacy papers Monday at the Christian County clerk’s office. As of now, he will face off in the Republican primary against incumbent Sheriff Tyler DeArmond.
Prior to his employment with the sheriff’s office, Vanderkolk worked for the Oak Grove Police Department and is a U.S. Army veteran.
