Police Charge Three People During Burglary Investigation

An investigation into several burglaries led to the arrest of three people on Riverview Drive in Hopkinsville Tuesday afternoon.

Hopkinsville Police say they conducted a search warrant at the home of 60-year-old Leslie Emry.

During the search, police say evidence that connected Emry to the burglaries at WK Cinemas, Edward Jones Financial Company, Sally’s, Fancy Liquor’s, Music Central, and to a criminal mischief at Grace & Mercy were found.

32-year-old Andrea Baron was also reportedly inside the home and she was found to have 21.89 grams of meth, several pills, a scale, a glass pipe, 12 grams of marijuana, and drug paraphernalia.

37-year-old James Lewis was also at the home during the time of Emry’s arrest and Lewis was found to have a warrant for failure to appear.

They were all three arrested and Emry was charged with five counts of third-degree burglary. Baron was charged with trafficking meth and possession of opiates, amphetamine, and marijuana.

Baron was also found to have a warrant for child support.
