Hopkinsville Community College will host its annual Circle of Love holiday food and giveaway as a drive-thru event Thursday by the Office of Student Engagement.
According to officials, 41 children will be sponsored to receive gifts during this year’s Circle of Love. They say 45 food bags will be donated to 21 families, which include HCC student families as well as families from the Boys and Girls Club of Hopkinsville/Christian County.
Gift and food sponsors include members of the HCC Board of Directors, HCC faculty, staff and students from both Hopkinsville and Fort Campbell campuses along with family members of college employees.
The Circle of Love holiday food and giveaway will be from 9 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. on Thursday with recipients scheduled in 10-minute blocks by appointments for safety. The event will be held at the Hopkinsville Community College campus with the drive-thru area facing North Drive, behind the Emerging Technologies Building.
HCC officials say safety precautions and social distancing will be utilized during the event.
