Hopkinsville Police say Kentucky State Police were searching a home on Clearman Court in Hopkinsville after a woman was found dead in a car on Cerulean Road between Wallonia Road and Guinn Road around 10 am.
While searching the home in Hopkinsville, a man was reportedly found dead from a gunshot wound.
Police say they have a person of interest they are interviewing and they believe both homicides are connected.

Kentucky State Police is continuing its investigation into the death of a woman found in a car in northeast Trigg County Thursday morning.
Trigg County Sheriff Aaron Acree said a deputy was on patrol on Cerulean Road just after 10 o’clock when he found a vehicle on the side of the road with the deceased woman inside.
Kentucky State Police was requested to investigate the death and closed Cerulean Road between the Wallonia Road and Guinn Road.
The road was re-opened around 3:30 Thursday afternoon. No other details have been released by Kentucky State Police.

Not many details are known at this time but a portion of Cerulean Road in Trigg County is currently closed as Kentucky State Police troopers and detectives are on the scene conducting a death investigation.
Post 1 spokeswoman Trooper Sarah Burgess says Cerulean Road is closed between KY 128/Wallonia Road and Guinn Road. She notes Wallonia Road is open at the intersection and vehicles may travel either direction on Wallonia Road. She adds that Guinn Road is a dead-end road and vehicles will have to turn around and find an alternate route.
According to Burgess, the road will remain closed for an undetermined amount of time.
The News Edge has learned Trigg County emergency personnel were called to Cerulean Road shortly before 10:15 Thursday morning for a person found unresponsive inside of a car.
Trooper Burgess says no further information related to the investigation can be released at this time.
