A likely tornado struck Pembroke early Saturday with downed trees and building damage forcing the closure of most roads in the southeastern Christian County town.
A tornado warning was issued for Christian County around 12:45 after a confirmed tornado was spotted near Lafayette. Pembroke Fire Chief Nick Belair said there is widespread damage in the city.
