Girl Scout Troop 1879 and the Northwest Volunteer Fire Department are teaming up to have a toy drive for the communities of Pembroke and Dawson Springs.
Northwest Assistant Chief Josh Smith said the toy drive will help the children of those communities have a present at Christmas since so many have lost everything they own.
The toy drive will be Saturday from 9 am to 3 pm at the Wal-Mart on Clinic Drive in Hopkinsville.
Donations should be unwrapped toys and can also be dropped off at Kentucky American Seed on the Eagle Way Bypass and Porta Grace Manufacturing on Old Concord Lane.
