Gradually warmer temperatures and some sunshine are expected through at least Wednesday, with showers expected to ramp up Thursday.
Mike York, a meteorologist with the Paducah National Weather Service, said the main concern starting Thursday is heavy rain showers.
Heavy rain chances last through Saturday morning, with any potential thunderstorms expected to remain below severe thunderstorm standards.
Highs look to remain in the 60s through Friday, with cooler temperatures arriving Saturday, and the high Sunday expected to be in the 40s.
