Utility representatives reported Tuesday morning that restoration of power for Caldwell County is ahead of schedule for Princeton Electric Plant Board and Pennyrile Electric customers. Pennyrile Electric is reporting 102 customers without power in Lyon County. Officials from Kenergy report no outages in Caldwell County
Kentucky Utilities, which serves a large portion of Western Kentucky is currently working to restore power to 293 people in Caldwell County, 1,553 customers in the Dawson Springs area, and 3,0005 customers in the Nortonville, White Plains, and Morton’s Gap communities. Electric power has also been restored to the Crofton area of Christian County.
Water has been restored for all Caldwell County residents, except for 18 customers in the Dawson Road area, which are serviced out of Dawson Springs. Those without water include residents in the Long Break Road and White School House Road area.
A Boil Water Advisory is only in effect now for the disaster areas.
