Those looking to help the Salvation Army this holiday season, but do not have any money to donate, can volunteer to ring bells at local businesses.
Lieutenant Lindsey Galabeas, with the Hopkinsville chapter, told the News Edge they are in dire need of bell-ringers.
Galabeas added you can sign up by clicking here or by calling (270) 885-9633.
The funding raised during the holiday season helps with more than just providing gifts for children in need at Christmas.
Galabeas added the funding also helps with the Rapid Rehousing and Homeless Prevention programs.
On Tuesday, December 21, Kimberly Allen and Eddie Owen, hosts of WHVO’s ‘Hoptown This Morning,’ will be ringing bells from 2:00 to 4:00 p.m. at the Walmart on Clinic Drive in Hopkinsville.
