A Hopkinsville man was charged with trafficking meth after a theft investigation on East 9th Street in Hopkinsville Friday morning.
Hopkinsville Police say they noticed a vehicle that matched the description from a theft of shingles on Spring Street parked at a gas station.
The driver 41-year-old Genesis Bloomer Jr. reportedly dropped two glass pipes as he stepped out of the vehicle. Police say inside the vehicle 5 grams of meth in three separate bags along with drug paraphernalia were found.
Bloomer allegedly admitted to smoking crack cocaine and spice but refused to talk about the stolen shingles. He was arrested and charged with trafficking meth second offense, public intoxication, and possession of drug paraphernalia.
