A man was charged with assault after he reportedly stabbed another man on Witty Lane in Christian County Saturday night.
Christian County Sheriff’s Detective Sgt. Rick Burgess says 42-year-old Benito Bautista stabbed a man in a vehicle with a knife several times.
The victim was taken by ambulance to Jennie Stuart Medical Center.
Law enforcement was first called to the scene just before 11 pm for a report of a self-inflicted stab wound and found that the man had been stabbed by someone else.
Bautista was arrested and charged with first-degree assault.
