A home on Latham Avenue in Hopkinsville was destroyed in a fire Sunday morning.
Hopkinsville Fire Department Spokesman Payton Rogers says the fire had already vented through the roof and the home was engulfed in flames when they arrived just before 5 am.
No one was home at the time and the cause of the fire was unknown. Rogers says they were called by neighbors who noticed the home on fire.
Firefighters from three stations responded to the fire. The home is located at the 100 block of Latham Avenue.
