Law enforcement is asking for the community’s help Wednesday locating a woman wanted in connection to an attempted assault.
Hopkinsville Police say 23-year-old Kayla Knight is wanted for attempted first-degree assault, first-degree criminal mischief, and third-degree terroristic threatening.
On October 26th Knight reportedly was angry with a cashier and began yelling at the cashier and slung the drink she was holding across the counter.
As she was escorted out of the business police say Knight got in her car and reversed then pulled forward trying to hit the employee.
Her last known address was the 1400 block of West 7th Street. Police ask if you have any information on her whereabouts to contact the Hopkinsville Christian County dispatch at 270-890-1300.
