A home on Dogwood Kelly Road in Christian County was destroyed and three pets were killed in a fire late Friday night.
Christian County emergency personnel say the home located at the 2400 block of Dogwood Kelly Road was fully engulfed in flames and partially collapsed when they arrived just after 10 pm.
The family was able to get out of the home uninjured but three of their pets were killed and one has not been located. The cause of the fire has not been determined.
The American Red Cross was contacted to help the family. Lacy Fire Department was assisted by Highland Fire Department.
