Two officers involved in the altercation were treated and released at Trigg County Hospital for their injuries.

Navarro was later transferred to a Nashville hospital for treatment for the suspected drug overdose. He is charged with public intoxication, second-degree assault, first-degree strangulation, resisting arrest, three counts of third-degree criminal mischief, and four counts of third-degree assault.
