A second trial date has been set for a Christian County woman charged with murder in the shooting death of a Hopkinsville man on College Street last April.
Kachelle Isbell appeared in Christian County Circuit Court with public defender Doug Moore Wednesday afternoon. Isbell was originally scheduled to stand trial next month but that date was vacated in November following the death of her defense attorney.
In court Wednesday, Moore relayed to Judge Andrew Self that he would continue to serve as Isbell’s attorney and indicated to special prosecutor Tim Cocanougher that he’s ready to move forward.
